Our Penny-Wise Shadows
With uncertain economy,
"Forward ho," and we're off again,
leaving only our footsteps as artifacts
for those who still track us, to marvel at
well after we have followed a series of new suns
so familiar, we no longer cast our penny-wise shadows.
