brick and mortar

an edifice of artifice
a monument of machination
body, mind, soul
torn down, built up
upon a sound foundation
in the spirit of
an Eiffle, an Olmsted, a Lloyd-Wright
imperative towering over impermanence
the architecture of a life beyond blueprints
anchored to this Earth while reaching for the stars
